She took an eternity to grade our papers. She gives tough grades and is very particular about what she wants you to say. She's also not great at responding to emails. I've emailed her about five times and have only received three responses. Wouldn't recommend her.
For tests, he didn't provide any feedback. In the middle of a lecture, even the sight of a laptop or phone sent him spiraling. I never used the Blackboard portal because I'm sure he doesn't know how to use it. He doesn't seem to respect students. Wouldn't recommend this prof at all.
Dr. Gonzales was awesome! Spring 2020 semester was a one-of-a-kind experience, and she graded and lectured as if it were a normal online course. For many, transitioning to remote work was difficult, and her work load is unbelievably busy, so her ability to be available most days of the week is inspiring. Huge thanks to Prof. Gonzales!
Prof. Malone is awesome! He's very understanding as well! Classes are very informative and you'll actually get lots of hands-on experience!
Prof. Mootoo is the worst! He's very mean and condescending! He doesn't seem to care about students and he really wants everyone to fail. He's happy when the average is a 30 which actually shows how cruel he is. His lectures do not even correlate with exams.
Prof. Benjamin is awesome!
Prof. Lewis is a very inspiring man who really cares about students. He wants everyone to succeed! He's really understanding and he loves to give you feedback! He makes the class very enjoyable and worthwhile! 10/10 would recommend this prof!
Professor Williams is not motivating her students. She babbles a lot during discussion posts and drives people from communicating. Her grading was unfair as well.
I go to northeastern. However, I had this terror of a woman in high school. Professor Wilson used to work at Arlington Catholic, but was fired due to pure incompetence. She would fight with students and everyone absolutely hated her. Unfortunately, she had to follow me to college. Luckily I was able to avoid her class. Be cautious. Do not take her class.
Professor Boyne was great. I really enjoyed his class. He was very enthusiastic about the information and made the class entertaining. If you put effort in your work, this class is an easy A. I felt I learned a lot in his class. Will be taking his Computer 2 class next.
Doctor Edens was a great professor. She's very funny and cares a lot about the students. There were four tests and two outside of class small projects. The tests came straight from lecture notes. I already knew a lot of the information before taking the class, but it was still interesting. It was also a good introduction class to psych of women.
She goes over everything step by step and makes sure you understand everything. Exams are tough, she says, but if you study the notes, you will pass. She was funny and energetic in lab, and I loved her in both lab and lecture. (The lecture textbook is optional, but it is helpful if you need additional assistance.)
If you are a slacker, you will struggle in this class. You must work hard for your grade and study the material. She wants you to succeed and pass the exam. You will be fine if you study every day. Every day, there will be a pop quiz on vocab or the chapter. The tests are long and difficult. You must study for as long as possible in order to pass.
This prof is unprofessional. He doesn't understand the material that he teaches, students had to constantly correct his mistakes. When a student would ask a question, the prof would become angry and condescending. He told us to email him with any of our questions, but he was very unresponsive. I highly recommend taking a different prof.
Wouldn't recommend this prof at all. This semester, I had him for lab, and if I had a question, he would answer it and make you feel stupid. Despite all that had happened with COVID-19, he was still a strict lab grader who refused to give extra credit. I suggest you really choose a different prof!
Dr. Prechel was one of my all-time favorite professors. We had three open-ended questions and ten one-page papers. Exams came from lectures. Every week, we had a meeting with the TA, who provided all of the information needed in the papers. I printed out the lecture notes and took them to class to supplement the information. Such an easy A for me!
Prof. Scu was pretty engaging!!! When we had to transition to online class, he was very concerned about everyone. Would honestly take him again!
Prof. Brenneman is an excellent teacher. Lectures were very detailed and easy to understand, as were assignments and labs. There's plenty of help available through office hours, email, Zoom meetings, and great tutors who come highly recommended! If you study, follow directions, complete tasks, and turn them in on time, you will almost certainly receive an A.
Prof. Donna is undoubtedly the best math professor I have ever had. I'm terrible at math, but she makes it seem so simple. She's a real sweetheart who clearly knows her stuff. You're free to ask as many questions as you want because she simply wants to ensure that everyone is on the same page. She provides quiz questions based on the homework. Her tests aren't long or difficult. 10 out of 10!!
Prof. Russell is okay, but he's a tough grader. He expects you to work for your grade which means that he'll want you to do exactly what he wants. Lectures takes the whole class time period and if you aren't used to talking in class, you'll have no choice in this class. He would usually read from his presentations and post it as well.
