I love Prof. Hastings! He's very genuine and kind. We only had two essays the entire sem and he was very accessible to talk to outside of class. He has that passionate and cool, male history teacher vibe. His lectures are quite loaded but are very understandable. 10/10 would recommend.

He's knowledgeable and eager to see us do well. He gives good advice on our assignments and often sticks around after class for more detailed discussions. He remembers that we're regular folks with our own lives outside school, something most teachers tend to forget. Although you need to put in some effort, he makes learning fun.
