Awful
Masoud is the worst professor I've had the misfortune of dealing with at UofT so far. Most of the lectures are based on ideas and "intuition," while the exams focus on the graphing and mathematical portions of the models taught in class. instead of trying to learn the material yourself, You'd be better off going to ECOMAN right away. The EcoMan curriculum is based on the Basel core. The material is presented in a much more intelligent manner than ECOMAN. Don't waste your time and money.

his lectures are completely unclear. His course is a GPA-killer, ECO is brutal, and Studying the past tests is your best survival strategy. BTW first test will probably be curved 10-14 points everyone fails.

Prof. Masoud isn't the best prof in the economics dept. I feel like he needs more organization to his lecture approach. He shares a lot of interesting stories, but he can be unclear at times.
Biography
University of Toronto St. George Campus - Economics
Masoud Anjomshoa is Iranian and was a former cabinet advisor to the Iranian monarchy. He is completing the final requirement for a Ph.D. degree at Columbia University. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate degree economics courses also at Columbia. His research experience includes the application of advanced quantitative, database and econometric modelling techniques for major corporate, country and continental projects.
