My previous research area was in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative medicine with a specific focus on the development of novel polymers for implantation in soft tissue. At present I am developing new research programs in two distinct areas

the first is work in collaboration with investigators in the Smith School of Business at Queen's and the School of Nursing on the interface between strategy and implementation in the health care system. This work builds on my expertise in strategy and in engineering design. The second areas of research is in the realm of engineering education.
