Good

Blacklock has an annoying personality. Exams were crap. After reading the textbook and reviewing his lecture notes there was information on the tests that we did not cover. It is apparent that he definitely thinks that he loves teaching.

Prof. Justin was awesome! Would highly recommend his class!!!! I had him for intro to speech maymester and it was pretty easy! He gives 3 presentations and 3 exams. I suggest you study for exams because he writes his own questions. Super loved his class! Would honestly take it again!!

Good

He's a fantastic teacher, a great man, and his class is a breeze! He has three tests and one final, but it is a group project for the final. If you're having problems, he's very accommodating! He is always willing to give you extra credit if you want it, and the extra credit isn't bad; it merely allows you to score other speeches or do other things around campus.

Mr. Blacklock is an excellent teacher, and you can see that he's really passionate about public speaking. He offers numerous options for additional credit, and he is patient as long as you communicate with him. For his students, he establishes clear objectives and guidelines, and his feedback is quite beneficial. 10/10 would recommend!

Professor Blacklock was very relaxed and very approachable. The class notes were heavy. So, you'll be doing a lot of taking notes. Do pay attention with the exams. It will have a lot of questions that don't appear in the notes or the book. If you do take down all the notes and submit everything on time, you'll get an easy A or B though. I totally recommend his class.

Awesome

Prof. Blacklocks speech class is one of my ATFs! At first, it seemed frightening because we begin by giving a speech in front of the entire class, but as time went on, I realized how simple this lesson was. There are just three tests, the third of which is extremely easy, and there is also very little homework. You'll get an A if you show up and turn in your work on time.

Professor Blacklock is marvelous. When we transitioned to online class due to COVID-19, he was still available for office hours and still made the class fun. There were some readings in the textbook. But as long as you pay attention to the lecture, you'll pass the take home quizzes. Also, as long as you practice your speeches, you'll eventually pass as well.
