Prof Lee is an excellent instructor. He is very dedicated and concerned about his students. If you participate in class, Lee will be aware of your interest and you will find that you got more out of the class than your peers.

I am not good at mathematics but Professor James is the only teacher who do the teaching to me. He thoroughly explains each lesson in depth and always make sure that everyone understands before the class ends. He is fair when it comes to grade and his humor makes the class ambiance better. He is a great person and professor.

I had Professor Lee in the spring, when classes changed to online. I'm not a Math fan, but it was a very chill and simple class. His pacing is a bit fast. So if you missed the day you'd be behind But it's also easy to reach out to him. His lectures were fun with jokes too and sometimes he would give answers to tests. The transition to online has not changed the quality of his class.

I took Professor Lee's course during the summer for four weeks. To be honest, I was very nervous to take it in the summer with that small amount of time, but he was great. You have to work hard though. However, trust me that his teaching is very clear and honest. His tests were straightforward and he's literally the best for Calculus I can say that, he's the best professor in mathematics out there. Take him without having second thoughts.

Professor Lee was an extraordinary one. I rarely got bored in his lectures. He made calculus easy to learn. His exams were graded by points and he's very straightforward. Also, his lectures give you exactly what you need to pass the exams. For sure I would have gotten an A in his class if it wasn't for the transition to virtual learning, that's my bad though.

If you are trying to get an A in Calculus to meet the requirement, don't take Professor Lee's class. He's such a good teacher, but a tough grader. I'm the type of person who doesn't show my work in great detail, and he will drop your grade for that. Quizzes are the same as homework. However, the tests are very hard. However, he does get you well-prepared for Calculus 2.
