He's a tough cookie certainly, but I really liked his class. I understand a lot of individuals, but I believe he's pretty good. In office hours he was always lovely, and he kind of reminds me of a grandpa. Kalmar's feedback is strong, and his criteria are always evident. Just put in some hard work and you're going to be okay.

Professor Kalmar is an easy grader. However, make sure you follow his very specific criteria for every assignment. It doesn't help that he isn't clear in stating his expectations. Honestly, the course itself is very broad and very easy too. He expects the discussions to reflect his oftentimes rigid views.
