    I have over 10 years of experience teaching English literature and writing at the University of Toronto, designing my own syllabi, lectures, and assignments for 8 different courses and over 40 separate classes. I have taught all of the major literary genres (fiction, prose, poetry, drama) as well as composition & rhetoric. I am qualified to teach the novel from its beginnings to the present (from Daniel Defoe to Cormac McCarthy) and have expertise in Children's Literature. My classes ranged in size from 25 to 200 students. I also supervised and managed teaching assistants.

    After many years working as an adjunct professor, I am studying library science at the Faculty of Information with a special interest in rare books and academic librarianship. I'm an avid member of the Book History and Print Culture program, with a focus on bibliography, the "afterlives" of books, and book collectors. Transitioning to this field has been a natural evolution of both my research commitments and my dedication to advancing the research needs of others.
