Professor Heap was somewhat disorganized but he puts a lot of effort into being a great teacher. He makes the effort to get to know the individual students in his class and makes himself available to work with students if they have any questions. Heap was very positive and constructive in his class. You can do well if you do your part.

Awful

Prof. Heap is a nice guy but a terrible professor. He is extremely disorganized. Website is never updated with codes from lecture and he spends most of class coding on computer but always makes syntax error. Grading scheme was quite unfair as our assignments were worth almost nothing while others weighted too much. I don't understand why he is so beloved.

Poor

You can earn marks by writing a blog in the class of Professor Heap. However, his exams were bad. He will teach the easiest questions in lectures, assigns medium questions for homework and will ask tough questions in the finals. I think it should be the other way around. A three hours exam isn't the place where you will have a eureka moment for eight questions. Even if you take the class seriously, it won't guarantee that you will do well.

The fact that Professor Heap got ratings below a 5.0 is absolute heresy.
