Dr. Haugen has the best professor. He is good at teaching to his 1301 and 2306 courses. He explain very clear of his topics. He is extremely intelligent and caring professor. He is very creative when doing online videos. 2306(ethics) class is more interesting. Take his classes and you won't regret it.

I took Professor Haugen's FTF class for a full semester. He really enjoys his job, but sometimes he can sound arrogant. Every week he gives two assignments, all of it due Sunday at 11:59. Quizzes don't show the answers, however you can take unlimited tries and get all of the answers correct. Tests are literally the same as the quiz questions and you can get all those by retaking as well.

Doctor Haugen won my respect. He's one of those few teachers who wants you to learn the material and not just get a good grade. He truly cares about his job and reputation. He's very smart and professional too. One of his talents is to make a topic a very interesting one. I was skeptical about his class. However, it just turned out being a life changing course.
