If you're planning to take him, I would suggest that you just read the assigned readings and skip lectures. The readings cover all the material that he discusses in class as well as relevant information not included in lectures. It pretty much explains everything better.

Professor Wilson is okay as a university professor, but he's quite tough for students just coming from high school. He will teach you everything that will appear on the tests, you just have to understand the concepts given in lectures and you will be fine.
