“Professor Giermann is insanely rude and ignorant. You'll be shocked at what she'll be saying in class. Her course contents and grading criteria were confusing too. We didn't know what our grades were, until less than a week before our finals. I only surpass this class using YouTube videos and online notes to teach myself. Overall, she's possibly one of the worst professors I've ever had. Avoid her if you can. ”
“I truly love Professor Bejarano. There were no exams or quizzes throughout the term. Even if there are a lot of discussion boards, she gave an opportunity for extra credit. She gave great feedback on all assignments as well. Yes, she gives a lot of work, but as long as you enter it, it's a simple A. So, if you're thinking about taking it, I highly recommend her class. ”
“Professor Watkins is a caring teacher. He really wants you to succeed. This course consists of six modules with approximately four to five questions, that require you to answer in-depth using peer-reviewed articles. He provides great feedback. I suggest you read those every time an assignment is graded because it really helps your grade. Get ready to read too. ”
“Professor Mohiuddin is a bit unorganized and has issues with technology. He's a bit slow when it comes to grading which made gauging our knowledge or project performance difficult. On the other hand, he always stayed late after class to lend extra help if needed. Also, he answered my emails quickly, which was always nice. The one-to-one questions were helpful as well. ”
“Doctor Tina was fantastic and very fair. She's specific in what she expects. The homework and work definitely make you a good view of health from more than just the outer shell, but the inside as well. I'm very grateful for the amazing learning experience that I had. ”
“Professor Bishop is really awesome. He explains the subject very well. She cares about her students and will take any opportunity to help them. You'll easily get an A if you do your homework and prepare for exams. ”
“Professor Ozmetin is fine. Definitely, he's more concerned with Mat Sci than with ENGR216. But sometimes he looks dry, bored, and doesn't want to work. I will say that he's good at answering questions, and more than willing to go back and explain things in class. Neither too difficult nor too easy class. In my opinion, it just has an average workload and difficulty. ”
“Professor Park has helped me to think critically about challenging questions. Deep down, he's a very philosophical and ethical person. So, his course has a very technical, philosophical flavor. Also, he leads excellent discussions and asks good questions. His exams are challenging though. However, if you read carefully and think, you'll understand them. Just get ready to read. ”
“Honestly during the first few classes I liked Professor Cooper. However, as the semester went by I started to see him as a little bitter. He left sarcastic remarks about our daily writing duties for no reason. His feedback on essays was limited at best and usually belittling. On the other hand, his lectures were not so bad and he will respect you. Just go to class and you get a possible A. ”
“Professor Obeidat was really exceptional at explaining the material and always answered the students' doubts. He made the class interesting and fun. It made me love the course even more. Overall, I had a great experience, and will definitely take a course with him again. ”
“Professor Quintanilla made sure that we had the earliest testing date for the final. He also refuses to give grades for a major test out. ”
“Professor Smith made geography as interesting as possible. His lectures were like telling a story. There are 10 pop quizzes throughout the semester, but they're not bad. His exams are difficult if you don't take good notes during class. He gives up to eight points on your average, at the end of the semester. Luckily, there's no textbook, so no outside reading. ”
“Professor Borgwald is very nice. All of her assignments were easy to understand too. Also, it's very impossible to fail her class. This class is highly recommended. ”
“Professor Alonzo is boring and not technological at all. The only textbook that is really needed is Major Problems in TX History. Quizzes come from it. Also, studying for tests, those are not difficult. However, you need to know the information well. I suggest don't miss the lesson because he will curve the grades based on your attendance. ”
“Professor Pacek was very hilarious. You usually get out of class a bit early too. He's by far the best Political Science teacher I've ever had. ”
“Professor O'Neill's class was very bad that it made me change my major. She has a background in broadcasting, but rather than teaching, she was constantly showing Youtube videos. Also, she came to class late and unprepared. We only did about five assignments. Most of the exams were difficult due to her unique dialect and poor writing skills. What a horrible class it is. ”
“Doctor Harter truly wants his students to understand fundamental concepts about programming in the industry, that can be used in their careers. However, this sometimes leads to points being removed for small errors, and also for solutions to problems that are not close enough to the solution you have in mind. This made his class stressful at times. ”
“Professor Hamilton is weird. Some of the things that come out of his mouth are just weird and a bit awkward. He drove through class content at lightning speed. Also, he always gave weekly page-long homework when many other 217 classes don't have. On the other hand, he cares about his students and discussed factual Covid-19 information with us in class. ”
“Professor D'Brot is great. He's a solid choice in Introduction for Biology. He's quite a simple one too. He will drop a test and exempt you from the final exam if you get an A for all those five tests. I can say that practice problems will help you. Also, do the Study Guides, they are there for a reason. And if you pay attention during lectures and do what he recommends to study, you should do well on the exams. ”
“I took Professor Lumpkin for some classes. I can say that she's fantastic. She is a fair evaluator and is willing to help you with any problems you have. Also, she's an inspiration and a great social worker. I suggest you take her class if you can. ”
