Good

This class is not a joke. There was a big focus on derivations. However, Professor Medina-Cetina is an amazing guy and cares a lot about his students' learning. It's more work than the other professors though. But don't you worry, he's gonna help you out and definitely, you'll end with a good grade. I got a 16 on the midterm and he let us retake it with 75% credit back. So, I ended the class with an A+.

Poor

Doctor Medina-Cetina, often focuses on unrelated topics, rather than following the curriculum. I went to his office three times and was told that the answers to my questions could be found in the book. He gives very little extra credit on exams and quizzes. Honestly, his quizzes and exams are made for graduate students. Overall, he's a horrible choice for this class.

Awful

The average score on the midterm was somewhere in the 20's. I got a measly 18 and the only solution to raise it was to take the entire test over again. The material on the test didn't seem to relate to what we had been learning, and the weekly quizzes are typically very tough. He seems like a nice guy, but it feels like he's a bit lost.
