I believe that life is best lived together. Circles are better than rows. Teams are better than mavericks. Different is better than same.

In a world that is constantly changing, we must lead the way toward community with innovative solutions to keep people connected in life-giving ways.

Wisdom is gaining perspective and seeing how connected we are to increasingly larger communities.

I work to provide educational and community leadership through the instruction of philosophy at the post-secondary level. Through this I hope to enable students and the community to achieve success in a global society.

    THIS HAPPENS AS I...
    1. Enable student success by encouraging all to live "the good life," as can only be achieved by reflection and self-examination.

    2. Enhance employee success by endeavoring to grow myself while sharing the lessons learned along the way.

    3. Engage the community through mentoring opportunities and forums where community members share their own knowledge and experiences with learners.

    4. Improve institutional effectiveness by continually modifying courses and practices around key outcomes and trends in higher education.
