    Facilitated the development of a thematic residential program for female undergraduate
    students in science, math and technology which will be used to enhance recruitment and
    facilitate retention and success of students.
    · Developed campus-wide mentoring program for faculty replete with training workshops,
    toolkit resources, evaluation mechanisms and reward structure that is being effectively
    utilized and replicated at IU, IUPUI and other campuses.
    · Founded the Inter-Campus Coalition for the Advancement of Women, which provides a
    framework for Deans and Directors on the other campuses to share strategies, best
    practices and resources for the advancement of women on some of IU's campuses and Purdue
    University.
    · Revamped OWA's campus-wide newsletter, Majority Report, into a well-respected 28-page
    magazine for the dissemination of information on the status of women, issues in higher
    education, research about gender equity and as a forum for sharing the accomplishments of
    women faculty, staff and students.
    · Conducted campus-wide, survey-based research on the status of child care on IU's campus
    and data were used to enhance child care operations and to work more effectively on access
    issues.
    · Worked to establish policy that all first year and transfer students must complete a
    mandatory online sexual assault education program and secured the funding to pay for the
    program.
    · Designed modified duties and mentoring policies for faculty.

    Vice President

    Reporting jointly to the President and Provost of University of Oregon and serving as a
    member of the University's Executive Leadership Team, I lead University of Oregon's
    efforts to infuse equity and inclusion in all aspects of campus and community life. The
    OEI portfolio includes the Center for Academic and Multicultural Excellence, which focuses
    accelerating academic and professional success among under-represented student
    populations; the Center on Diversity and Community, a unit that enhances access and
    opportunity for faculty as well as graduate students; the Multicultural Center, which
    funds and enhances co-curricular programming for under-represented students and the Many
    Nations Longhouse, a cultural gathering place that represents the spirit and tradition of
    the Nine Federally-Recognized Indian tribes. The office is currently focused on seven
    areas: student access and success; faculty diversity and advancement; community outreach;
    equity; leadership development; policy design and cultural support as well as recognition.

    Reporting directly to the Provost and Executive Vice-President of Indiana University, I
    led Indiana University-Bloomington's campus-wide programs for academic support and
    professional development of faculty, staff and students with an emphasis on women. Working
    with Vice Presidents, other Deans, Chairs, the Office of Affirmative Action, Police, the
    Executive Director of Residential Services, the University's Health Center, Parking, Dean
    of Students and the Graduate School, I manage a half-million dollar annual budget to
    facilitate gender equity, high quality research, policy development, monitor compliance,
    facilitate tenure, promotion and advancement for faculty, access, safety and curricular
    development issues for students and professional development opportunities for staff.
    During my stint as Dean, I have managed to develop additional enrichment opportunities on
    campus while also building up a reserve of a quarter million dollars. In my capacity as
