His lectures can be hard to listen to and the slides aren't organized, so taking notes is a little challenging, but he isn't a bad professor. He offers extra credit clicker points if you pay attention. I recommend reading the book for the homework and quizzes because of it being hard to take notes.

Do not take this class if you don't have to. I had no idea what was ever going on in this class. Professor Halley doesn't lecture or test on the content in the textbook, so you can't supplement the lectures with the text. Even though I thought I understood the content I still failed the first test. Run!
