Prof. Denis is highly educated & well-versed in anti-colonial and anti-racist pedagogy. Her syllabus are clearly outlined as well as her course expectations, assignments, grading, and content. His films and online videos were well-chosen & pertinent to the topics. Blend of current and older literature showed the increase in scholarly work in this area.

Awful

Professor Denis was terrible. Her grading criteria was incredibly inconsistent and unclear. It took over a month to clarify, on a weekly basis, the per-class assignment. Her teacher assistants also had no idea on what is expected about the class grading. The three hour class would end with a one hour movie. Why even keep us there? It was ridiculous.
