I am a public policy and security generalist who amalgamates a deep understanding of history, law, philosophy, economics, and international relations to successfully do Geopolitical Enterprise Risk Intelligence. In addition, I am experienced in threat assessments for executive protection, event risks management, site security, brand/reputation, crisis management, and due diligence.

I have a MA in Security Studies, a PhD in Political Science, and ten years of experience researching, teaching, and analyzing public policy and geopolitics. I am a proud Southerner, and I belong to the realist tradition. Important influences include St. Augustine of Hippo, Alexander Hamilton, and Dr. Henry Kissinger.

    Focus: US domestic and foreign policy
    • Monetary policy, political economy, social movements, foreign affairs, cyber-security, national security, regulatory policy

    Use open source intelligence (OSINT) to create short and long-term assessments for life safety, business continuity, travel security, and brand reputation. Threat assessments for assets or new building locations, executive protection, and event risks. Also, regular reporting of geopolitical risk analysis.

    I am also the team methodologist, crafting and standardizing qualitative approaches to intelligence analysis that compliments data analysis. Specifically, the use of case studies, triangulation, and process tracing. Part of this is offering training seminars on methodology and subject matters expertise. In addition, I liaise with other corporate intelligence groups in the area to bolster efforts at information gathering and analysis.
