Awful

Professor Pruett spends every class going through a slideshow and its really boring. This class requires a lot of reading from the textbook assigned. The tests are really hard and worth a lot of your grade because there aren't many assignments. I wouldn't really recommend this class unless you really like world geography.

Good

This is not an easy social science gen ed, he makes you work for it. Take this class with someone else if you are not willing to read a chapter and take a quiz every week. He definitely knows his stuff and likes what he teaches. I liked the lectures as well, but I can see why people complain about it being too much work for an intro class.

Awesome

Most of Professor Pruett's lectures were pretty interesting. He seems to be knowledgeable and definitely loves what he teaches. There are weekly quizzes and occasional maps are easy. The scantron exams are straight-forward. The essays are much harder and he grades them harshly. This is not an easy "A" but definitely worth the effort.
