Doctor Maga is really a great guy and an even better professor. He has the tendency to get off track talking about his Japan experience, but it's always fascinating. Don't worry about his jokes. Those will get better as the semester goes on. He has a wealth of information. Any political science major should take his class.

Doctor Maga is a hilarious professor. Every class is a lecture. Some of it is from the assigned textbook, but a lot is from his personal experiences. The grade was based on four in-class essays only, though his grading is flexible. Also, he's always willing to read drafts or outlines before essays and provides feedback. He's quick on giving grades as well as replying to emails.

Prof. Maga is awesome!!! I would've taken more classes with him if I stuck with my PoliSci Major. His lectures are pretty interesting and you can see that he clearly knows his stuff. Really learned a lot from him!
