Professor Thayne is very knowledgeable, he had fantastic announcements every week, and was always available to meet in person throughout the week. The class is difficult and consist of quite a bit of reading. I recommend participating in a group with people who understand his stuff. He is horrible at responding to emails, so terrible that he normally doesn't reply, however he does have office hours.

We had lots of reading in this class. I suggest you use Sitepoint for textbooks and please submit weekly notes or examples. We had 2 major projects due for midterm and final. Weekly group projects are like group tasks and meetings. Class meetings aren't mandatory. Class is fine though. Be prepared to set aside time to accomplish all readings. Also, do as many practice examples as you can to learn lots.
