Art history has a tendency to bore me, however O'Brien definitely makes it more enjoyable. He raised our grade a whole letter just for going to the MET. The Biggest tip: Sit up front, especially if you're bad with names and dates, it will help with the tests, which can be tricky.

I absolutely love O'Brien, he is a very kind professor, I definitely would take his class again. He is very direct about what his test consist of, and gives extra credit as well.

Awful

Wouldn't recommend at all. If you like doing a lot of homework AND reading, then this class is good for you. He's even a really tough grader. Do NOT sign up for this class, particularly if you are taking this online. It will be frustrating with the amount of work. If there's another professor you can find, do so.

Average

I enrolled in his class because of all the great feedback he has. Unfortunately, because of the way the class was set up, he wasn't as involved as the other teacher. IND102 was actually taught by two teachers. I thought he was a good teacher based on what I saw of him, but we didn't get to spend much time with him and he's quite a tough grader.
