Dr. Pate B-lines for his office after every class and you have to chase him down if you need him. He is always the last one to get to class and the first one to leave. There are three tests and a final, which are the only grades. The average in this class is a D but other classes with different professors average a B or A. The tests are really hard and he doesn't tell you what you need to know.

Professor Pate knows a lot about linear algebra but does not know how to communicate the ideas to students who are not scholars in math. It seemed obvious that he does not care at all because he leaves class early and is last one there everyday. The tests are really arbitrary and long.
