  toys and more. But we do more than make sure kids aren’t “forgotten” one day each year. We enhance their lives with our shoe and dental programs

  camperships and scholarships to Wayne State University. Because regardless of what day it is

  “forgotten” is no way to feel.

  can earn a high school diploma at Covenant House Academy Southwest. The tuition-free school gets students on track and prepares them for life beyond high school. As a math coach I assist students in understanding the concepts to build their success and mathematical confidence. Students learn in a \"judgement free\" zone

  learning from mistakes and staying focused on their goals.

  Sharing my love and enthusiasm for mathematics with students who need a little convincing about the value of learning to think logically and use algorithms to solve every day problems. I am certified to teach Pearson's Developmental Mathematics Program using MyMathLab at Wayne County Community College District. Research demonstrates My Math Lab closed the achievement gaps relative to gender

  race and socioeconomic status. Professors using technology provide students more tools to succeed. I also work in the Academic Lab at the Eastern Campus assisting students with mathematics understanding

  completing homework and preparing for assessments.
