Biology is already a hard subject, but Professor Ogden made it even harder than it should be. He doesn't do in class lectures, they are all online before class. This makes it harder to ask questions and be able to learn. The tests are really hard too. Even if you think you know the answers, you can still miss questions.

Honestly, I loved this class, but his graders are just really tough to work with.

Honestly, I was terrified to take Biology because I really struggled with it in high school but Prof. Ogden was amazing! His lectures were entertaining and you can see that he's passionate about the subject. He also gives many chances to succeed with extra credit and study sessions. He's very kind and patient with students who ask questions in class as well.

Dr. Ogden is a cool dude. His class, like all college science classes, requires a lot of study time. There's lots of assignments, but it is nice because the are easy points to buffer your grade. The tests are kind of difficult, but as long as you go to the review sessions with the TAs you will be alright. If you are struggling, go to his office hours, he will always help!

Dr. Ogden will give an A to any student who earns one. In this particular class, it's pretty easy to get an A. There was 2 tests, some points in an online MC form, and some points take home test form. There is also a big group project at the end of the course. Attendance isn't mandatory, but recommended. Take Dr. Ogden, he is a cool guy and passionate about student success.

I took BIOL4500-Principles of Evolution with Prof. Ogden. Such an amazing class! His lectures focus on fleshing out the evidence on evolution. I suggest you take notes during lectures and take home exams. Class is project-based, but he's very helpful. He's also pretty accessible!

I really liked Dr. Ogden. He cares about his students and his lectures are interesting. I would take him again just based on his excitement and enthusiasm toward the subject of biology.

You can see that Prof. Ogen really cares about what he teaches which I really appreciate because he's so genuine. I just really wish that he could laymanize terms on complex topics because I was frequently lost during lectures.
