Dr. Farris is a great professor who literally is there/stands up for the students, as I stated in the review below (had to make another one; he's that good). For example, one time, he voted WITH the student body for additional near student parking against the majority (2 vs 11) of VSCC employees in the room. Exceptional person and professor!

Prof. Farris is honestly the best prof in VSCC! His classes were more difficult than any at Tennessee Tech, but they were also fun. I never got an A in any of his four classes, but I went on to Tech and became a straight A student; so, if you can make it here, you'll be great. Very helpful both in and out of class, and always willing to assist students. 10/10 would recommend!
