Awesome

This was by far my favorite course in my four years at Temple University! Professor Stacey is very understanding, very approachable, and has an eye for creativity! She brings real experience to the class. There's a big group project which requires a lot of effort, but on the bright side you'll walk out with some great portfolio pieces!

Awful

Save yourself the time and stress, do not take her. Professor Harpster doesn't give her classroom an environment that her students feel comfortable talking and participating in. Unless you answer exactly the way she would, you are wrong or she won't even acknowledge your answer. Plus you'll spend all of your printing money in this class.

Professor Harpster is very helpful and knows exactly what she's talking about! She pushes you to work hard and adhere to strict deadlines, but all she does is to train you for a real advertising career. She will write you awesome recommendations and link you with a lot of people in the field if you leave the class with good grades.

Professor Harpster facilitates a strong learning environment, not only teaching coursework but also helping his students develop as people. Don't be afraid to speak in class and ask questions. Showing up to class every day does not guarantee a good grade. And if you're afraid to put a bit of work and effort into a college-level course, don't take this class.

Professor Harpster takes this introductory class very seriously. She's a tough grader. Also, she has unrealistic expectations of her students. If you are not an advertising major, stay away from her class.

In most of this class, you'll be working with your group to make an advertising campaign. You all will get the same grade. If you're fortunate, you'll get a great team. However, she's the one who will choose it.
