My most recent work history has been focused on nursing education in academia. My primary concentration was in Human Patient Simulation using High Fidelity Simulators, across the life span. As Simulation Coordinator I facilitated simulations from beginning to advanced levels as a part of tge nursing curriculum. Developing strategies for improved learning and academic outcomes in nursing education was an ongoing part of my Simulation journey in academia. Our team developed theory based strategies that were implemented throughout Simulation at the various levels within the program.

Over the years I presented at HPSN World Conferences . Topics presented included :

" Exploring a Standardized Format for Simulation;Following a Safety Culture Methodology "

" A Multi-Patient Capstone Simulation: Following Pedagogy Grounded on Itegrated Theory and Clinical Competency "

Prior to working in the academic arena I practiced as a Vascular Nurse on a Vascular Unit. As a Certified Vascular Nurse I integrated knowledge and experience into my practice and even brought change to the department. I created a Vascular Education Program training nurses on ABI and PAD Assessment Skills.

In summary my areas of expertise include both Vascular Nursing and Human Patient Simulation Across the Life-Span.
