Awful

Shawn is a terrible professor. We are convinced that he has no idea how to teach. He pretends to be on your side but he does not really care. Find another course.

Awesome

You either love or hate Professor Lupoli. His teaching style works well for me. He gives lots of examples and provides more for you to go over in your own time or with classmates. No surprises on exam, project or group labs, unless you just don't pay attention. If you put in the work, you'll get the grade. He's by far my favorite professor at Texas A&M University.

Awesome

You will either love or hate Prof. Lupoli. Personally, he's my favorite prof at TAMU. His teaching style really works well for me and as long as you put in the work, you will get a grade you deserve. He also gives lots of examples and he provides more for you to go over with classmates or in your own time. He doesn't surprise you on tests unless you really don't go to class.

Poor

Professor Lupoli's class is terrible for some reasons. I don't want anyone else to be tricked by the older reviews here. He's a good lecturer. However, his projects which is 40% of your grade were long, scary, and unclear. In addition, he became rude and unwilling to make changes, once students find out errors with instructions. I suggest that, you must start his project immediately. Overall, he's not a good professor.

Good

Professor Lupoli is a very funny one. His exercises during lecture were very helpful. Also, the tests were very fair with no surprises. However, this was the most time consuming class of my semester due to the projects, especially because his instructions were unclear. The worst part of this class was the grading system. We had to argue points back because the graders messed up.

Awful

I don't care what other people say about Professor Lupoli, just listen to this review. Generally, he teaches very well. However, that doesn't make up for the fact that many students feel insulted and disrespected by him. He enjoys things like very rude behavior and unfair grading. If you want to be disrespected and humiliated, then take his class.

Awful

Professor Lupoli does know how to teach. However, he manages his class horribly. Be prepared for a fifteen-week emotional roller coaster. His exams were very long. Also, make yourself ready for wrong answers to the answer key for the tests. He will let you fail the exams and will grade you zero. Also, his instructions were confusing, and is a tough grader when it comes to homework. Overall, expect to argue with him about your grade all year long.

Awesome

This teacher is really cool. According to what I saw in the comments, he had a tough time in CSCE 314 last semester. It seems like students who had a hard time in the beginner class, CS 110, blamed their struggles on him too. But he really cares about whether or not you learn, and he's quite humorous as well. He's the only teacher I don't avoid.
