If you want an English class that is a no-brainer, this is not it. You have a lot of assignments and a lot of deadlines to meet. This class is where you learn what your weaknesses are. Go to class because attendance is very important.

When he graded, it looked like the missing link, His criteria for grading was fair, The criteria used to get a good grade was clear and reasonable. He bent the topics you could pick for your essays. There were a lot of reflections on essays but they were very short.

The course was challenging however it was doable. All the essays were due in parts which made the deadlines possible. Reflections are due with all major assignments but they will help you with the next assignment. I recommend Prof. McGowan if you are trying to improve your skills.

I would recommend Professor McGowan he is an awesome professor. He is personable and easy to get along with. He is available when you need him and gives excellent feedback. My writing capabilities have improved immensely because of his courses. His classes always has a theme. For example, his 1102 class this semester it was comic books and visual arts and 1101 class was on movies.

He taught me to step outside of my comfort zone and he’s a really sweet guy who gives good feedback. There quite a bit of assignments but they go with the major assignments given. He’s overall a great professor and tries to gives you no time to procrastinate.

This class isn't for you if you want to take a fluff class. He gives a ton of papers due in a short period of time. He assigns too much work but he's actually nice. This class is fine if you plan on devoting a lot of time, but otherwise, don't take him.
