Dr. Popiden recently contributed two chapters on \"Global Governance\" and \"Conflict and In/Security in the 21st Century\" to the book Encounters with World Affairs (2015). She also published a review of the internationalized civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo titled \"Local Dimensions of War and Peace in the DRC

    \" in the International Studies Review.\n\nShe has extensive training in multivariate regression and maximum likelihood estimation. Knowledge of statistical programs STATA
