In Professor Gallo's class you are graded by six exams and several homework assignments. The exams are very similar to the study guides that can be found on Gallo's docushare. He will even let you make up exams. The textbook he uses can be found free online. The lectures can be a bit heavy, but be sure to attend class every day to stay on top of the deadlines. If you are diligent, it will be easy to pass.

Awful

Prof. Gallo is an amazing guy but he doesn't explain things clearly. He only lectures as if he's talking to himself. He brings up new concepts and throws it into the lesson without even explaining because he expects us to know it already. When you ask him a question, he always has a hard time answering. He stumbles on his words all the time. If you plan on taking this, be ready to teach yourself and ask others for help.

Good

The tests, there are five and one final, are worth 90% of the grade. No need to panic for the final because he grades all the tests equally. Docushare will be your best friend during this course. He will let you retake exams and the homework and tests are the same as the ones on docushare just with different problems. I could have got a B, but I slacked. He grades the homework very easy and ti-84 is needed. No textbook though.
