Good

You have to do work outside of the class to understand the material, but its not bad. Good job of teaching the basics of excel and making sure the class is keeping up. If you are willing to put the time into the class you can do well. 4 tests, homework every week. All online. This is an excel heavy class.

Arrogant in class, but his office hours he's a nice guy. If your decent at math and excel you can get by not going to every class. Pay attention and put in a little effort your almost guaranteed to pass. Multiple chances on homework and he gives practice test exactly like the real exam. Course uses excel heavily.

Professor Phelps did not teach during lectures. He will only ignore your questions and expects you to know it yourself.

Professor Phelps deletes his videos after a few days so you can't go back to review them. He's very arrogant as well. If you're not good at math, you will have to use YouTube. It's better than him trying to teach you and making fun of you for not understanding a concept. I'll rate him 0/10. Don't take him, you'll regret it.

Prof. Phelps' class covers a lot of detail. Attendance is required. Once you miss a class, you won't know what's going on. But you're in good hands because he's really good at explaining things and making you understand it.

Everyone is dealing with a difficult economic situation. I studied and put in a lot of hours in order to get a D on all of my examinations. I narrowly passed the class, but it was still a lot of fun to take. He's never more than an email or an office hour conference away. He is extremely knowledgeable on the subject, and it is undeniably true that economics is a difficult subject.

This was not an easy course for me. However, Doctor Phelps makes himself available if needed. His class videos were very informative. The note packet is such a valuable way to learn the information and have a reference to keep after the class. You'll be required to learn the content to thrive. Also, you'll earn the grade you work for.

In Professor Phelps' class, we had one homework assignment every week. However, it was very long and it took up to 4 hours to complete. If your final grade is 20 points lower than your average test grade, you automatically failed the course. On the other hand, if you study hard, you can pass the exam, but you should pay attention in class though.
