Biography

Northern Illinois University - Geology

Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech
Higher Education
Ryan
Pollyea
Blacksburg, Virginia
I am a physical scientist with research and teaching interests in geofluids and energy resources. My research uses numerical models to investigate the chemical and mechanical impacts of engineered fluid systems, such geologic CO2 sequestration and oilfield wastewater disposal. In addition, I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in quantitative & computational geology, modeling physical systems, and hydrogeology. For more information, check out my website at www.computationalgeofluids.org.
