  Working for the chikusa-chou board of education in hyougo-ken. Chikusa is no longer a full town and is part of shisou-shi. I worked primarily in the middle school: Chikusa chugakou.

  Cúram (now part of IBM) develops application frameworks for social services applications. The majority of\nmy development here has been with Java technology. I was four years on the team\nwhich produces our J2EE-compliant Struts-based client development environment. This\nenvironment was built around RWD/eclipse

  a platform which I developed an eclipse\nplugin for. In this role

  I was deeply involved with developing custom JSP tags

  \nSVG/JavaScript based widgets and interfaces for the primary app server platforms:\nWebsphere/DB2 and WebLogic/Oracle. Prior to this I was responsible for a large Java\nSwing desktop application.

  Provided technical direction for major over-haul of Dalhousie's web presence. This involved a\nnumber of challenges such as: moving to a new distributed web server model;\ncommunicating with people from a wide range of backgrounds across different\ndepartments; supervising the team's development in the best way given tight schedules.\nI developed a very thorough knowledge of the CQ5 product (J2EE based) and a close\nrelationship with the vendor through support issues.
