Awful

Prof. Dearth quickly skims through several PPTs a day and he doesn't even bother teaching. He expects you to read the book so you are actually teaching yourself everything. He seems to be the prof who believes that it's his job to weed students out instead of trying to educate them. In our class, most students dropped.

Awful

Professor Dearth was an extremely harsh and a tough grader. He shows no remorse towards his students. His exams were very tricky. Examples of his exam format were multiple choice like, ( A and B) ( B and C ) a , b , c or none of the above. It seems that he enjoys tricking students and make them easily fail in exams. The group assignments were almost PhD and master levels. Very sophisticated.
