He is definitely my favorite professor that I have ever taken. Very caring and funny too. Will make you feel comfortable enough to go up and speak because he makes everyone feel so welcome. You will learn and have a good time at the same time. Assignments are mostly about how you can relate to what he's teaching, he always wants us to speak up and be ourselves. You won't regret taking this class.

Probably the best professor that I have ever had. Demonstrates how problems are cyclical throughout time and invites students to imagine creative solutions to them. Encourages students to think for themselves. And a very nice person as well.

He is very animated and lively so there is never a dull moment in his class. Makes students go beyond the surface so that he can know our honest opinion on the system and how to approach us in the lesson. Not your typical textbook robot instructor. He really seems to care to know how we feel about the way America is set up. I highly recommend him.

Education

  • The Union Institute and University

    Master's Degree

    History and Culture
My area of study was on the psychology of history and how archetypes are present throughout mythology. The Abstract for my thesis was the following: Modern man has never truly understood the Warrior archetype in its fullness. While the Warrior archetype has been relevant throughout history as well as in our modern world, it is at times feared because of its violent associations. By exploring the Warrior Archetype throughout mythology, its importance to civilizations can be better understood. The Warrior throughout mythology is a reference point for men, exemplifying the internal and external battles fought every day. This thesis explores how the Warrior archetype, from its ancient origins in Mesopotamia, can still be seen in contemporary culture.

  • Saint Thomas University

    Bachelor's Degree

History / Liberal Arts / Philosophy
My studies included a base foundation in History and Philosophy. The two areas of study are inseparable if one is to truly understand where society comes from and where we are going. The study of history here was an examination of ancient civilizations, revolutions throughout history and a contemporary base of understanding on how the themes of history are relevant in modern times. My Liberal Arts foundation was part of my double major and allowed me to freely study various other fields of studies that correlated with my research.

There is no such thing as a problem if one ignores the cause of it. It''s that simple. But ultimately, anyone can make anything into a problem. Say an ant crossing the street, who cares, right? Someone might look at that ant and view it to be prelude to an apocalypse. Dope, is the story of Frankl Horowitz and his established problem with society. The non-definable problem is man itself, the way he is raised, the way he believes and quite frankly, the way he lives is annoying. There is no real solution to this so called problem, it just simply is. We find Frankl Horowitz on the verge of finding the Naza Chamber, the only probable solution to a problem with no solution. Shrouded in secrecy, consumed by the ages and hidden in a secret location only known by two boys, Ring and his twin brother Taro, the Naza Chamber sleeps in the nothingness of wait. Venturing through the bowels of madness, chased by a frantic co-worker and galloping across the fields of Oblivion, Frankl must now confront, perhaps, much worse than he has seen so far.
