Professor Barnet is a really good lecturer. His voice can be a little monotone and dry but it is really worth paying attention.If you do what you should, you'll get A. I think his tests are very fair. He has clear expectations for the class and gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit. He gives great examples and takes the time to answer all questions.

Good

Professor Barnet's grading system was based on three multiple choice exams. His lectures were interesting and he provided useful examples. Some of the material is difficult. However, the exams were easy if you listen to the lectures and do the readings well. Also, he gives extra credit for attendance. He also makes note of slides or content that will definitely be on the exam.

Professor Barnet goes out of his way to ensure that the information is as fascinating as possible. He clearly cares about his students (provides e.c./study aids, goes over exams/meets in advance, puts work into his ppts, and so on). This year, he gave three final grades (the lowest ten percent of the final grade, the other two 45 percent each), which was fantastic. 10/10 would reco!
