Higher Education
Robert
Martin, M.S.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Area
I received my B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia in May, 2016. In November, 2018 I defended my thesis and received my M.S. degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. Currently I am a Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant and a fourth year student at OU preparing for comp exams and to begin research/study design for my dissertation. I work with Dr. Michael Mumford studying creativity/innovation, leadership, planning, and ethical decision-making. I am also a grad student project lead at OU working on a funded grant from the U.S. Army Research Institute in collaboration with Binghamton University, investigating collective leadership and planning. My thesis and dissertation projects investigate error management and creative problem-solving. Additionally, I am a professional ethics trainer for the Responsible Conduct of Research program at OU where I help train 2-day seminars for graduate students on ethical decision-making in professional and research contexts.
