I took Professor Barrett's CS306 class. Which is about current computer technology in society, yet he gives us articles and videos to study from four years ago. In my opinion he is qualified to be teaching this course. He does not use Blackboard and requires all assignments to be sent via email. He is a tough grader because he marks off insignificant details. He requires you to buy two textbooks to do busy work assignments.
