Good

Prof. Favors class was good, but I would suggest another prof if you need help with essay building. She's a good choice if you already know what you're supposed to be doing prior taking this course.

Awesome

Don't be afraid of Professor Favors' class. It wasn't too much reading, she does most of the reading with you. At first she was scary. However, she does that to make an impression of her sternness. The class consists of five essays. There's no homework nor midterm and the final exam was very easy. Her class was very easy as well. She gives great feedback which next time really helps you to do better.

    • Composition/Assessment: This includes composition studies, feedback and assessment, and adult learning styles. I am interested in measuring adult learning in the English classroom. • Psychology: This includes close relationships, rebound relationships, relational transgression; mate value, mate retention, mate replaceability, and mate switching; grit and self-control studies, which I incorporate into the English course, learning goal orientation and performance goal orientation. I especially want to study why students pursue the easiest task instead of adopting a mastery orientation. I am interested also in setback studies. • Advocacy: This includes chronic homelessness, training the trainer, motivational interviewing, and permanent supported housing. I want to measure how likely a PSH resident would extend their stay in housing beyond the traditional two-year period.

  • Bait, Hook & Switch: Confessions of a Rebound Girl (2019, 2016)

    CreateSpace Independent Publishing (Amazon)/Favors Publications

Hook & Switch: Confessions of a Rebound Girl, Part I is a book about my personal struggles with rebound relationships, particularly how I failed to recognize when I was in one and how I perpetuated the problem and the cycle throughout my early twenties to my late thirties and to my transition to forty years old. In writing this book, after my last rebound relationship, I realized that I had never addressed the pain, hurt, and causes of why I entered, unknowingly at the time, rebound relationships and why I was always susceptible to using these types of short-term mating strategies. I realized that I did not take the time to know the person I wanted to be in relationship with. This book is part of a three-part series. Bait, Hook & Switch: Confessions of a Rebound Wife, Part II Confessions of a Rebound Girl: The No Contact Method, Part III
