Exams can be difficult if you don't read or attend class. She is a solid professor though. Attendance and class participation are a whole letter grade, so you really have to show up and speak up. She doesn't give extra credit because there was this one time when she did and my classmates acted bad, so she decided not to give for the rest of the semester. Quizzes about current events are difficult.

Professor Lynch's class can be overwhelming when you work and go to school. The coursework is easy but very time-consuming. You absolutely must earn your grade in this class.

Professor Lynch lacks compassion. Her grading system is terrible. She demands a 350-word discussion board each week and a 150-word response to 2 classmates. Also, there are weekly quizzes and three exams throughout the semester. If you do all the work and study, you'll pass.
