The tests that gives are way too hard and they hold tons of useless and unnecessary information. He does eleven in-class exercises which can only be done in class, so even though the lectures are impractical attendance is mandatory. The two opportunities we are given to receive extra credit are only worth 1% of the total grade. You need the book to get an A in this class.

Awesome

Prof. Ravi's teaching is amazing even though the material is very dry. If I hadn't taken him, class would be really boring. He's very relatable and hilarious. He even gives hint reviews. You just really have to study the ppt slides. He drops 1 test grade and curves tests to drop the bad questions He gives 10 pts extra credit. He doesn't give homework. Pop quizzes are draw a!!

Good

Prof Jillapalli has an Indian accent, so at times he can be hard to understand. There is no homework, but a lot of quizzes going over what was taught in class that day. Honestly, I rarely went to class, I missed most of the quizzes, averaged an 85% on tests, and still got a high C. I do recommend going to class, but id you are in need of a class you can frequently miss and not fail, this is it! He is a great guy!
