Usually history is my best subject, but I ended up with a D. Prof Means sounds cool and is knowledgeable, but he is just very hard. You are screwed for the test if you miss a class. You will fail if you don't take a lot of notes. He doesn't go by the book, he will say "Your book says this but it's wrong." There is two book tests, three other tests, and an essay.
