She can relate calculus to every day reality. The tests are the biggest part of your grade. You do get to do a rework in order to add points - (test grade- 75% and rework- 25% of the 20 extra pts). The 3rd test is extremely hard (class average of 53%). Be sure to go to class before hand or else you will not understand anything. On the other hand, she tells funny jokes and even I would consider her a great professor. Go to her office before the Final.

Poor

Professor Rizzo is a great person, but maybe not the best professor. The tests are handwritten and are claimed to be from the book, but that is a lie. I recommend to go to office hours to get extra help. My best advice is to study A LOT on your own and do mymathlab in the lecture.

Prof. Rizzo is an amazing teacher. She's the best math teacher I had! She also gives good feedback on tests and makes sure that you really know you stuff before exams. However, it's still up to you whether you wanna put in effort or not.

Prof. Rizzo is very nice and funny! She explains things clearly. You will really have to study, but as long as you do everything you're told to, you'll be fine!
