I learned a lot from a book The class I paid for was a waste The class confused me I could have read the book and worked some problems. I got an A in spite of the teacher.

Professor Majumdar - Watch out because this guy is from Pashun India and does not speak English. If you speak Pashunisse you will be okay. On the other hand, he is Unimpressive, Not very interesting, does not use email, will not speak to you on the telephone unless you can speak Pashunisse. He will not help you if you have any questions about the course material. You have to purchase the 5 text books that he uses in his class. At least they are in English. But you still have to study them because all of the tests and quizzes are taken right out of these books. He is the most Unhelpful instructor that I have ever found at South Carolina State. Even if you can speak Pashunisse he will criticize your accent and treat you with Disrespect. Schools are businesses and their employees should be reviewed more often to improve or remove employees who treat their students with insults and rude remarks about their appearance.

Don't make the same mistake I made. Stay away from Prof. Majumdar. This class is more trouble than it's worth (all because of the teacher). He laughs at students who have questions.

Great subject but a terrible teacher. I don't get why someone would teach if they plan on laughing at students.

Consider your options with great care. Majumdar will try to confuse you, so be careful. Majumdar borrows alot from the other class, so you might want to sit in on the other lecture. Majumdar gives a harder and more complete class, so consider doing double-time.
