I did my fieldwork for my MLIS degree under the supervision of James Schnur in the Archives and Special Collections department at the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library. I remained working as an Archives Assistant after my fieldwork was completed and my primary work was with inventorying the local African American newspaper the Weekly Challenger. At the start of June the library began acquiring a lot of LGBTQ+ monographs and other various documents that I have also spent a lot of time cataloging and preserving.
