Independent web developer and freelance writer/editor specializing in the environment, wildlife and the outdoors. My most recent book, "Beyond Catch & Release: Exploring The Future of Fly Fishing" was published in May, 2011. My website, All About Wildlife.com, launched in early 2009 and and now receives more than 150,000 unique visitors per month.

Previous experience in journalism, education and public relations includes working as the editor & associate publisher of a national consumer magazine, serving as a public information officer for the Federal Emergency Management Agency during 10 presidentially declared natural disasters, employment as a newspaper reporter and a wire service correspondent in South America and four years as a college writing instructor.

I've published a children's book, and have had two novels published by William Morrow and Simon & Schuster.

MOST RECENT BOOK CREDITS
Beyond Catch & Release (Skyhorse Publishing; 2011). Wrote the foreword to Ted Williams’ Something’s Fishy: An Angler’s Look at Our Distressed Gamefish and Their Waters--and How we Can Preserve Both (Skyhorse Publishing; 2007). Essay on fly-fishing in Central Park was anthologized in Upriver and Downstream: The Best Fly-Fishing and Angling Adventures from The New York Times (2007).
