I love this teacher. If you are on the waiting list for his 8 week class, do not drop it. By the second week, around 25% of the class will drop because of the amount of homework. But this is acceptable for an 8 weeks course. I'm currently taking his class and it shows that he loves what he is doing.

Professor Baltimore cares deeply about his position as historian, and after organizing my summer class I found he was incredibly good at it as well. After taking his class I also learned tons, however there were a lot of papers that were just too much.
