I guess you could say I'm a natural born teacher; I'm extremely energetic and outgoing and I love to be around people, and these I have a true passion for teaching and the feedback I get from my students reflects that; in my last school in NY, there was actually a waitlist to get into my class.
Academically, my interests are quite broad: I have done graduate work in sociology, linguistics and education. I'm a voracious reader and I'm intellectually very curious, but I'm a people person at heart. In addition to the post-Master's experience listed above, I also have extensive pre-Master's experience teaching in Latin America. I speak Spanish fluently, and I have advance proficiency in Portuguese and basic proficiency in Chinese, Korean, and Italian.
